Start of the day - 8:50 am 
End of the day - 3.20 pm

Snack time is at 10:15 and lunchtime is at 12:00
Tuck money is £10 per term and can be paid via ParentPay or cash.

Our topic for Summer 1 is: Teddy Bears

This term we will be linking our learning to "We are Going on a Bear Hunt." We have lots of sensory experiences planned to bring this topic to life... We will be using our bare feet to walk the sensory pathway and we will end the half-term with a teddy bear picnic. There will be arts and crafts opportunities linked to our topic to develop fine motor skills.

Our topic for Spring 2 is: Terrific Transport

This term we will be learning about different types of transport. Our sensory story will be Naughty Bus and we will be linking our sensory experiences to this story. We are hoping to travel on the bus by the end of the year and continue our local walks in the community to spot all the different types of transport.

Our topic for Spring 1 is: Amazing Animals

This term we will be learning about different animals. It is the year of the horse according to the Chinese calendar, so we will spend some of our time learning all about horses. We will be reading "Clip Clop" and have a new addition to the class... Belle the rocking horse!

Our topic for Autumn 2 is: Ourselves and Celebrations

This term we will be learning about ourselves and celebrations. We will be using all our senses to learn about our bodies, how to look after ourselves and developing social skills.  We will be using Christmas, birthdays and Bonfire Night to learn about celebrations in a fun, sensory way!

Our topic for Autumn 1 is: Settling in and Colour

This term our main focus will be for the children to settle into school and become familiar with the routine. We will be incorporating lots of opportunities for sensory development through sensory exploration and open-ended colour activities.
