Daily Timetable
Start of the day - 8:50 am
End of the day - 3.20 pm
Snack time is at 10:30 and lunchtime is at 12:00 (Y1-Y3) / 12:45 (Y4-Y6)
Tuck money is £10 per term and can be paid via ParentPay or cash.
Our topic for Spring 2 is: Our World
This half term, we will be learning all about Our World. We will be learning about the planets and the solar system, as well as learning about the different continents on Earth. We are also going on a walk to explore more of our local area and visit Brinnington Library. As well as that, we are also looking forward to some special events, such as World Book Day on Thursday 5th March and getting ready for Easter towards the end of the term.
All children in cedar class have PE every Wednesday and Friday.

Our topic for Spring 1 is: Healthy Living
This half term, a lot of our work in Cedar class will be linked to The Hungry Caterpillar book as we explore healthy living and lifestyles. We will be learning about healthy food choices and a balanced diet, personal hygiene, hand washing and dental health. We will also be learning about exercise and keeping fit.
All children in cedar class have PE every Wednesday and Friday. We have forest school every Wednesday this half term.

Our topic for Autumn 2 is: The Leaf Thief
This half term, a lot of our work in Cedar class will be linked to The Leaf Thief book as we explore seasonal changes that happen during autumn. We will be learning the days of the week and the months of the year, as well as all about the seasons, especially autumn.
There are also a number of special events that we are looking forward to this half term, including Children in Need and Remembrance Day. We will also be learning about Advent and the Christmas Story.
All children in cedar class have PE every Wednesday and Friday. We have forest school and gardening every Wednesday this half term so children will need willies and outdoor clothing.

Our topic for Autumn 1 is: The Colour Monster
This half term, a lot of our work in Cedar class will be linked to The Colour Monster book as we explore our emotions and feelings and think about ways that we can manage and deal with our emotions using the Zones of Regulation. We will have plenty of time to settle into our new class and our surroundings, as well as getting to know all of our class mates and the adults who will be helping us throughout the year.
