Our focus for this half term is responsibility. We will be adding to our Values tab how we are exploring how that looks in our school and how we can live it out in our lives, as Jesus taught us to.
Daily Timetable
Start of school is at 8.50 am
End of school is at 3.20 pm
Playtime is at 10.30 am and at 2.15 am
Tuck
Tuck is £1 per week or £10 per term. This can be paid electronically.
Please use Parent Pay. Fruit is also still available each day to children.
Water Bottles
Your child should bring a water bottle into school each day, fresh water only, please.
Outdoor PE
Every Monday PM with Mr Stevenson
Please bring a named school PE kit into school.
PE bags can be left in the classroom.
Autumn 2 – A Fantastic Start! 🍂
Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely half-term break.
We are so proud of how well the children have settled into Year 1. They have worked incredibly hard, embraced new challenges, and made fantastic progress already. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow and their enthusiasm for learning shine through.
We are looking forward to another exciting half term filled with new learning, fun experiences, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate success.
Please see below for our knowledge organisers, which outline the learning we will be covering this half term. We greatly appreciate your continued support at home, particularly with weekly spellings and regular reading, as these make a huge difference to your child's progress.

Autumn 1 – Welcome Back! 🍂
We hope you have all had a wonderful summer break and are feeling excited for the year ahead! We can’t wait to welcome you back and see you all in our brand-new Year 1 classroom.
This term is going to be filled with lots of fun, exciting learning experiences and opportunities to make wonderful memories together. We will be working hard, trying our best, and celebrating all of our achievements along the way.
