Start of school is at 8.50 am
End of school is at 3.20 pm
Playtime is at 10.45 am
Tuck
Tuck is £1 per week or £10 per term. This can be paid electronically.
Please use Parent Pay. Fruit is also still available each day to children.
Water Bottles
Your child should bring a water bottle into school each day, fresh water only, please.
PE
Mr Stevenson will teach the children PE on Thursday – please ensure you have your PE Kit.
Swimming is on a Friday.

Welcome Back to Year 5!
Dear Year 5,
Welcome back! We hope you have had a wonderful break and are feeling refreshed, excited, and ready for a fantastic year ahead.
Year 5 is an exciting step in your school journey. This year you will learn lots of new skills, discover interesting topics, take on new challenges, and have many opportunities to show how responsible, hardworking, and creative you can be.
Remember, it is okay if things feel a little different at first. We are here to help you settle in and support you every step of the way. Be kind to one another, do your best, and never be afraid to ask questions.
We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will achieve this year. Let’s make Year 5 a year full of learning, laughter, friendship, and success.
Homework
Reading books will be updated daily and sent home.
Spellings will be given out every Monday and due back on Friday.
Homework books will be sent out each term. Please return each Friday so we can look at what has been completed!
History
This term we will be studying: Were the Vikings raiders, traders or something else?
Science
In Science, we will be looking at - Materials: Mixtures and separation.
