Welcome to Year 3PE/KM!
We can't wait to meet you in September!
Are you looking forward to coming back to school in September? We hope so! We have some exciting things planned. The first topic that we have planned is 'Wonderful Wildlife'. We will be looking at lots of different aspects of nature, including: wildlife animals, habitats and local wildlife.
On this page, you will find a little information about the adults that you will be working with next year. We're really looking forward to seeing you!
If you have any questions, worries or would just like to get in contact, please email Mr Eames at this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
My name is Mr Eames and I am so excited about teaching Year 3. I will be teaching you on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My favourite lessons are Maths and Topics (but I love them all, if I'm honest.) In my free time, I like going for runs and cooking at home. What do you like to do? It would be great if you sent us a short email, telling us about yourself!
My name is Mrs Forrest. I can’t wait to have you all in my class in September. We will have lots of fun together! I enjoy going on long walks with my dogs and baking yummy cakes.
My name is Miss Reeves. I will be working with you at different times in September. I will be based in the Oak Room but will come into class to help you with your learning. I love arts and crafts and like to go the the gym in my spare time! I can't wait to see you all in September.
What will the school day be like in September?
When you arrive back to school in September, your classroom will look a little different but our learning and class activities will be very similar to your experiences from Year 2.
Keeping Ourselves Healthy and Safe
Wash our hands
We will be continuing to wash our hands thoroughly and regularly throughout the day; at the beginning of the day, before and after play, before lunch, after lunchtime play, before we go home, if we sneeze or cough and of course when we pop to the toilet.
Play with our year group
Year 3 will have their own designated area outside that they can spend time in at break-time and lunchtime. You will be able to spend time with Miss Emmett's class when outdoors.
As well as Literacy and Numeracy, we will share our experiences and nurture our well being. Our topic for the first half term is 'Wonderful Wildlife.' Do you have a favourite wild animal? We'll be reading lots of stories and finding out lots of things about our local woodlands.
In September you will all get an individual pack with pencils, pens and all your equipment in. So all you will need to bring to school will be your water bottle, packed lunch (if you have one) and your planners.
Send an email to us!
We would really like to hear from you too. If you want to send us an email to tell us about your family, your favourite subjects and what you like to do at home - we would love it! Please email Mr Eames at email@example.com and he will share it with the rest of the team.
Have a great five weeks at home! We are all really looking forward to September.
