Our focus for this half term is RESPECT. We will be adding to our Values tab how we are exploring how that looks in our school and how we can live it out in our lives, as Jesus taught us to.

Start of the school day: 8:45am
End of the school day: 3.30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Start of the school day: Wednesday 8.45am- 11.45am.

12.30pm- 3.30pm
Tuck
Tuck is £10 per term. This should be paid electronically.
Please use Parent Pay. Your child will also receive free fruit everyday.
Water Bottles
Your child should bring a water bottle into school each day, fresh water only please.

June 2025
Welcome back to your last term in Nursery! We have lots to look forward to! Our last topic is Down on the Farm and we will be learning about where milk comes from, where some farm animals sleep and learn to name some baby animals. We will also be preparing ourselves to transition into our new Reception classes! We are looking forward to Sports day and Teddy Bear's Picnic. Stay and Play is on Thursday 26th July. We will meet our new teacher and look around our new classroom and outdoor area!
Thank you for being a fantastic Nursery class! I will look forward to seeing you all again in September!

April 2025
We have a very short half-term coming up! But we will have lots of fun learning all about the story 'Dear Zoo' by Rod Campbell. We will be learning to orally retell the story and add actions to match. We will be drawing pictures and making a story map!
We will be planting our beanstalks in the flower beds in our outdoor area and seeing which beanstalk grows the tallest!
We will have a visit from the travelling Farm where we hope to stroke the animals and learn facts about what they eat and where they sleep!

Welcome back everyone! We hope you've had a lovely break. This term we are learning a song for the story Jack and the Beanstalk! We are learning to retell the story and draw a simple story map. We will been inviting our grown-ups to watch us perform the song and attend our Easter bonnet parade within the classroom.

Welcome back after the Christmas term! and a big warm welcome to our new Nursery starters! We hope your child settles quickly and enjoys the fun activities we do in Nursery!
This half-term we are focusing on the book ‘Owl Babies’ and learning lots of amazing facts about British woodland animals! We will be making clay hedgehogs which we will paint and send home. We will also bake and eat Gruffalo crumble! Yum Yum!
Please complete any Wow! notes with your child. We love to celebrate success at home and share it with everybody.

Welcome back! We had a very busy half term getting to know our new friends and learning the routine of Nursery. This half term we are learning about People Who Help us and will have a visit from a Police Seargent!
We will be celebrating Nursery Rhyme week and inviting parents in to watch us perform our special 5 songs! We will then take part in the Nativity in December and will invite parents in to watch us as well. Exciting times ahead!
