Taylor Shaw provide our school meals and their absolute priority is to bring fresh, nutritious, good quality food that your child will enjoy while at school.  Lunch is freshly prepared and served by caring, well trained skilled people.  Each morning your child is able to choose from a healthy menu, and lunchtime is a time for your child to relax and socialise with their friends.  The current menu is available to view below.

Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 Children

In 2014 the Government introduce he universal free school meal initiative for all infant children.  This means that all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are eligible to received a free school meal.  All they have to do is order their choice of meal from the day's menu in class, and their meal will be ready for them at lunchtime.  If you think you may be eligible to received free school meals due to your personal circumstances (eg in receipt of Income Support) please apply by clicking the application link below.

Payment for School Meals

You only pay for the meal that your child actually takes and payment must be made via ParentPay, our secure on-line payment system.  Every child receives log-in details, along with a one time password which you will be prompted to change during set up.  Once logged into your account, you will be able to view your child's choices and make payment.  Please ensure your account remains in credit.

Free School Meals

If you feel you may be eligible for your child to receive free school meals (in receipt of Income Support), you need to complete the on line free school meals application form - please click the link below.  The result will come through instantly and the school will be notified directly.

Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch to school if you wish them to.  Please note, school operates a healthy food policy and fruit juices and fizzy drinks are not allowed.

Children are well supervised during dinnertime and afterwards in the playground by our wonderful mid-day staff.

Medical Diets
