As a church school, the Christian ethos is a very important aspect of the life of the school and we aim to encourage the children to follow this ethos in all that they do, and in the relationships they develop with those around them, whether it is staff, other adults or children.  We have strong links with our Church, St. Luke's, and the minister, Reverend Chris Blunt, who regularly visits school. We also plan in visits from the Christians in Schools Trust for assemblies and class-based activities.

In May 2023 we had our latest Church Inspection, which was a very positive experience and confirmed what we as a school believed we were doing well.
