Church

As a church school, the Christian ethos is a very important aspect of the life of the school and we aim to encourage the children to follow this ethos in all that they do, and in the relationships they develop with those around them, whether it is staff, other adults or children.  We have strong links with our Church, St. Luke's, and the Vicar, Reverend Andy Williams, who regularly visits school.

St Pauls' Whole School Values

Here at St Paul's we have identified twelve Christian values that we believe sit at the heart of our school community. Each half term we have a particular focus on one of those values.

This half term, our Christian value focus is on FORGIVENESS.

Forgiveness

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

                                                                                                                   Ephesians 4:32

To introduce our value, Miss Harrington read us this acrostic poem in Worship. We reflected on which line we find most challenging and were given the chance to respond.

     Forgiveness is…

Forgetting the hurts

Offering a new beginning

Restoring friendships

Given and received

Identifying responsibility

Valuing the truth

Ending an argument

Not holding a grudge

Encouraging honesty

Saying sorry

Starting again

Last half term our value was HOPE.

HOPE

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.                              Romans 15:13

In October 2015 we had our latest Church Inspection, which was a very positive experience and confirmed what we as a school believed we were doing well.

Below you will find a copy of the report which I hope you enjoy reading.
