Our Latest Topic

This Summer term, we are learning about The Ancient Egyptians. Take a look at our Knowledge Organiser to see what we are going to be exploring over the next few weeks. I know you are all very excited to get going!

Literacy

In Literacy earlier this term, we were linking our learning to our class book, Kenzuke's Kingdom. We have written diary entries, descriptive settings, letters and newspaper articles to name a few. We have loved Michael Morpurgo's beautiful story and have been impatient for the next chapter!

Now, we are beginning our new topic, The Ancient Egyptians and are linking our Literacy to this. So far, we have looked at biographies and their features, before beginning to plan our own on the famous British archaeologist, Howard Carter.
