Reading is a fantastic activity to do on your own or with someone. This term we are trying to encourage reading in our class. Part of this is introducing a reading competition.
Competition:
Every time your child reads and gets their planner signed, they will earn 5 points, and bringing their planner in for reading on a Thursday will earn them 10 points. The child who has the most points by Friday 14th May will win a prize.
This half term you children have 4 weeks of swimming lessons, they will be on:
14/05/21
21/05/21
28/05/21
18/06/21
On these weeks we will not have PE on a Wednesday.
For swimming your child will need:
Towel
Swimming costume or trunks (no bikinis and trunks must be tight)
Swimming hat (if they have long hair)
Your child can come in with their costumes under their uniform, please make sure they have everything to change into afterwards.
This term we are learning about Our Home, focusing on the United Kingdom as well as places closer to home. Attached you will find the knowledge organiser which outlines the learning that will be taking place and some of the activities you could do with your child.
